Our very own Sophia Huffman getting in on the fun with other girls from Region 5 at the 2022 Youth Nationals in Oklahoma City.
Three members of the Emerald Empire Junior Arabian Horse Club ranked high in the AHA's online Judging Contest. Placing Champion in the 13 and Under division was Hannah Huffman with Lindsay Kuster placing close behind in third place. Sophia Huffman placed Reserve Champion in the 14-18 division.
The girls judged four video classes including Half-Arabian Mares, Showmanship, Arabian Country English Pleasure, and Purebred Arabian Geldings. In addition to judging these classes contestants had to submit a written set of oral reasons on the showmanship class.
Big Congratulations to our very own Sophia Huffman for winning the Olympic Peninsula Arabian Club Youth Award. Sophia was chosen from a very competitive and tight field of Region 5 Youth. We are very proud of her accomplishment in earning this very prestigious award. More information to come.
